𝕯𝖔𝖜𝖓 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖗𝖆𝖇𝖇𝖎𝖙 𝖍𝖔𝖑𝖊 feat. Nino Sable (September 22, 2024, iM Electronica ©)

On August 20th, Ermete Lo Stige reached out to his friend Nino Sable, proposing a collaboration on a track previously different titled. Nino and Ermete had previously worked together in 2021 on a track called "Scars in the Sky." Nino agreed spontaneously to the new project.
Nino's initial concept for the song revolved around a character who frequents nightclubs across the country. This character never stays in one place but always takes someone along. Some perceive this character as a kidnapper, while others see him/her as a savior. The idea is that this person attends parties and offers an escape to those who wish to leave their small towns and start anew.
After drafting the main storyline, Nino recalled another story from 1995 when he attended the Deutsche Schule zu Porto in Portugal. As a newcomer to the school, he was assigned to a free desk. The desk of a girl who had tragically committed suicide a few weeks earlier. On the desk, she had carved two messages into the wood: "Follow me" and "Down the rabbit hole."

𝕺𝖉𝖎 𝖕𝖗𝖔𝖋𝖆𝖓𝖚𝖒 𝖛𝖚𝖑𝖌𝖚𝖘 𝖊𝖙 𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖊𝖔 (December 29, 2023, Dk Records)

"I hate the profane people, and I keep them away [from me]"
Horace said, to express an attitude of detachment from the opinions of the masses. An electronic ode to sonic individualism, a silent protest with the punk soul. Eight new tracks based on electro passion and that merge with different styles: synthwave, electro-pop, downtempo, techno, cinematic. A line of sounds somehow linked to the 80s and new wave attitude, but with an eclectic style, a look at the present and the choice to continue looking ahead.

All tracks written by Ermete Lo Stige, except "El Caballero de la muerte", a friendly collaboration with Valérie Hendrics (voice and lyrics are by Valérie Hendrich aka Valanaïs). Released by Distrokid & Ermete Lo Stige, December 2023.
